Published guide prices for supply and fit, upgrades and repairs. Last reviewed 25 October 2026.
Home prices are shown inc VAT at 20%, with the ex-VAT figure alongside. Door prices include supply and fitting, removal and disposal of an old roller or up-and-over door, standard fixings and making good. Your written quote after a free survey, or the agreed visit price, is the price.

Prices for business customers
Garage courts and lock-ups owned by landlords, residents' associations and management companies are quoted plus VAT. The same rates apply before VAT:

What is not included?
- Structural work, such as widening the opening, removing a central pier or a new lintel: priced on survey.
- New electrics beyond a fused spur near the box.
- Openings wider than 5.5 m, steel doors wider than 4 m, and colours outside the manufacturer's range: priced on survey.
- Travel to islands and remote areas, which is shown in the written quote before you agree.
Do islands and remote areas cost more?
The door and visit guide prices are the same everywhere we cover. Travel to islands and some remote towns is priced individually, worked out from the distance and any ferry or overnight stay needed, and shown in writing before you agree to anything. Surveys there are arranged individually, with any travel charge confirmed before booking. Towns where this applies: Aberystwyth, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Cowes, Fort William, Holyhead, Kirkwall, Lerwick, Llandrindod Wells, Llangefni, Newport (Isle of Wight), Oban, Portree, Ryde, Sandown, Skegness, Stornoway, Stranraer, Thurso and Wick.
How do payments work?
For new doors: 50% on acceptance of the quote, 40% on the first day of fitting and 10% on completion. Repairs and servicing are paid on completion of the visit. See our terms.
Questions about prices
Why is my quote different from the guide price?
The guide price assumes a standard opening and straightforward access. The written quote reflects your measurements, the exact door and motor, and anything the survey finds, such as a lintel that needs work or no power near the garage. We explain any difference before you agree.
Do prices change by postcode?
No. The guide prices are the same wherever we cover. The only exception is travel to islands and remote areas, which is arranged individually and shown in the written quote before you agree to anything.
