What should I know about remote control and keypad upgrades in Rhosllannerchrugog?

Recoding clears the receiver's memory so a lost or stolen fob can no longer open your garage door.
Smart receivers let you open and close the door from a phone app where the garage has dependable Wi-Fi.
Older receivers that no longer accept current handsets can be replaced, with the fitted price confirmed before booking.
Recoding after moving house means only the handsets you hold can open the door, whatever the previous owners kept.

Remote control and keypad upgrades in Rhosllannerchrugog: questions

Can I message you a photo of my garage in Rhosllannerchrugog?

Yes. Photos of the opening, the inside of the garage above the door and any existing door help us give a more useful guide price for Rhosllannerchrugog. Send them by WhatsApp or mention them in your enquiry, and we will reply in writing.

Do you charge more for Rhosllannerchrugog than other towns in Clwyd?

No. Guide prices are the same for Rhosllannerchrugog as for anywhere else we cover in Clwyd. The written quote reflects your opening and the door you choose, not your postcode, apart from islands and remote areas where any travel cost is shown in advance.

What should I do while I wait for a visit in Rhosllannerchrugog?

If the door is stuck part-open, keep people, pets and cars clear of it and switch off the power at the isolator if it is safe to reach. Do not force the curtain or open the roller box. Your Rhosllannerchrugog visit date is confirmed in writing.

How much is a visit in Rhosllannerchrugog?

Prices for remote control and keypad upgrades start from £108 inc VAT, and the price is agreed before anyone comes out. Any parts not covered by that price are quoted before they are fitted, so you can decide on the spot. The guide prices are the same in Rhosllannerchrugog as elsewhere we cover.

Where is a wireless keypad fitted?

A wireless keypad is usually mounted on the wall outside, close to the garage door and at a comfortable height, so you can open the door without a handset. It communicates with the receiver without a cable to the control box. You choose the code, and you can change it later if you need to.

Can I buy a remote online and code it myself?

Sometimes, but only if the handset is compatible with your receiver, and many aren't. Rolling-code systems need the right handset type and the correct pairing steps from the motor maker. If you'd rather not risk buying the wrong one, tell us the make of your control box and we'll supply matched handsets and pair them during the visit.
