What should I know about roller garage door servicing in Lurgan?
- Anything worn or failing is explained on the day, and parts are quoted before they're fitted.
- On manual doors, the engineer checks the spring balance and bottom-rail locks so the curtain lifts and locks properly.
- Several doors on a private garage court or block of lock-ups can be priced together before booking.
- Guide rails are cleaned and checked for wear, bends and secure fixings so the curtain can run freely.

Rules that apply in Lurgan
Powered door safety
Every powered door we fit is commissioned with force testing to BS EN 12453 and handed over with a Declaration of Conformity and CE marking, which is the marking that applies to machinery placed on the market in Northern Ireland.
Electrics
An electric door needs a power supply near the roller box. Part P does not apply in Northern Ireland, but electrical work must still meet BS 7671 and be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Roller garage door servicing in Lurgan: questions
Can I get a price for Lurgan without anyone visiting?
Yes. The guide price tool takes four steps and gives a range for your opening and door type. It is a guide, not a quote: the written quote comes after the survey or once the visit price is agreed.
Do you charge more for Lurgan than other towns in County Armagh?
No. Guide prices are the same for Lurgan as for anywhere else we cover in County Armagh. The written quote reflects your opening and the door you choose, not your postcode, apart from islands and remote areas where any travel cost is shown in advance.
Do you repair roller doors you did not fit in Lurgan?
Yes. We repair roller garage doors of any make in Lurgan and across BT66, BT65 and BT64, where parts are available. If a part is no longer made, we tell you what will fit instead, or price a replacement door if that is the better option.
Can I message you a photo of my garage in Lurgan?
Yes. Photos of the opening, the inside of the garage above the door and any existing door help us give a more useful guide price for Lurgan. Send them by WhatsApp or mention them in your enquiry, and we will reply in writing.
Does a service affect my warranty?
The manufacturer's warranty terms for your door and motor set out what's required, and some ask for regular maintenance. Check the terms supplied with your door, or in your quote if we fitted it. Keeping a record of each service, including the date and what was done, is sensible whatever the terms say.
Can you service several doors in one visit?
Yes. If you have more than one roller door, or look after a private garage court or a block of lock-ups, tell us how many doors there are and whether they're electric or manual. We'll confirm the price for all of them before booking, and any parts needed on any door are quoted before they're fitted.
