For a garage opened every day, or anyone who would find that hard work, an electric door is usually the better choice. Wide doubles between 4 and 5.5 m in our price list are electric.

Will a roller door give me more width than my double up-and-over door?

Possibly a little. An up-and-over door has a frame and swing-out arms at the sides, and a roller door doesn't, so converting can improve the clear width slightly. The guide rails still need some side room at each end. We measure the clear width you'd get at survey, so you know before ordering.
