Can insulation be added to my existing roller door?

Not in a practical way. The foam sits between the two aluminium skins of each lath when it's made, so a single-skin curtain can't simply be filled or lined. Getting insulated laths means a new curtain, and because the box and barrel need to suit the larger roll, that normally means a new door, which we can quote as a replacement.

Is an insulated door more secure than a single-skin one?

Not automatically. Insulation and burglary resistance are separate qualities. How well a door resists attack depends on how that specific manufacturer's model has been tested, for example to LPS 1175 or STS 202.
